The way that you request road improvements or traffic surveys has changed. In the past, your request would have been made to the Devizes Area Board, then passed down to the Parish Council, then back again to the Area Board. Now, your request goes directly to the Parish Council, making the process far more efficient.
If you wish to raise a highway improvement request, you should fill out the “Road Improvement Request Form” (click to download) and send this to Potterne Parish Council for consideration.
If you wish to raise a traffic survey request, you should fill out the ”Traffic-Survey-Request-Form” (click to download) and send this to Potterne Parish Council for consideration. Note that this form contains two pages of explanatory advice, which you should read before you complete the form.
Contact details for Potterne Parish Council are shown on each form. (Note that opening the PDF forms in a suitable viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, will enable you to type into the form, save it and email it directly from your computer.)
If the Parish Council supports your request, the council will forward it to the Devizes Area Board; if the Parish Council does not support your request, then the council will advise you accordingly.
Highway improvement progress updates are included in the Devizes Area Board (CATG) action notes circulated to the Parish Council, and the Clerk to the Parish Council will update you on the progress of your request.
